Cosa è CONVERTER


Un convertitore è un dispositivo elettronico che modifica un segnale di ingresso da una forma all'altra.

In elettronica, i convertitori vengono utilizzati per modificare la tensione, la corrente, la frequenza o il formato digitale di un segnale.

Esistono diversi tipi di convertitori, tra cui:

Convertitore di tensione: modifica il livello di tensione di un segnale di ingresso, aumentandolo o diminuendolo.

Convertitore di corrente: modifica il livello corrente di un segnale di ingresso, aumentandolo o diminuendolo.

Convertitore di frequenza: modifica la frequenza di un segnale di ingresso, aumentandola o diminuendola.

Convertitore digitale-analogico (DAC): converte i segnali digitali in segnali analogici.

Convertitore analogico-digitale (ADC): converte i segnali analogici in segnali digitali.

Convertitore di dati: modifica il formato dei dati di un segnale di ingresso, ad esempio la conversione tra formati di dati seriali e paralleli.

I convertitori svolgono un ruolo fondamentale nell'elettronica moderna consentendo ai segnali di essere trasmessi ed elaborati in modo efficiente e rendendo possibile l'interfaccia tra diversi tipi di dispositivi e sistemi. Contribuiscono a garantire che i segnali siano compatibili con i requisiti del sistema e che possano essere elaborati in modo accurato ed efficace.
